Terpel:
For 3 years, Terpel has been financially supporting productive projects uninterruptedly for the population served by ARN. This support is provided in coordination with the
Corporación Mundial de la Mujer CMMC; the latter provides technical support, purchases and delivers supplies for the entrepreneurs. In addition, support has been provided in vehicle maintenance and repair, food retail, bakery and tire maintenance, oils and motorcycle maintenance. These ventures have been part of the reintegration process. In addition, Terpel has held entrepreneurship fairs to strengthen productive projects for the ex-combatant population.
Gran Tierra Energy:
Gran Tierra Energy Company is committed to the reincorporation of the municipalities most affected by violence and poverty in Putumayo. The
FútbolNet Festival was held in Puerto Asís, Putumayo in February 2020. This Festival was the closing of the project carried out with the
Barcelona FC Foundation, with the support of
Gran Tierra Energy, wherein sports training processes were carried out for ex-combatants from this region.
This articulation with ARN facilitated a space with
Samarri catering service provider company for the commercialization of red tilapia fish from
COOMUCCON co-op. This co-op is run by individuals in the process of reincorporation in the municipality of Puerto Guzmán - Putumayo.
Grupo Éxito:

Grupo Éxito implemented the program called
"Attention for the vulnerable population". This program promotes training in competencies, capacities and abilities for effective labor inclusion of the beneficiaries. The "Attention for the vulnerable population" program has sponsored over 2,000 demobilized individuals and their families in strategic areas for the company such as Bogota, Barranquilla, Medellin, and Cali, and further supports commercialization of productive projects undertaken by ex-combatants, such as: red tilapia, a fish farming project in Mutatá (Antioquia) and the circular economy project called "Todos Ponen" (Everyone pitches in).
ProAntioquia:
A 270-hectare property was purchased in November 2019 with the purpose of supporting the economic and social reincorporation of 115 people located at former ETCR
Llano Grande in Dabeiba, through the implementation of productive projects with a community focus. Thus – with the objective of defining its productive vocation –
Fundación Salva Terra Foundation is currently developing a technical diagnosis with UNDP resources, accompanied by ARN and AGROPROGRESO Co-op.
Lohas Beans
This company made it possible to commercialize the entire organic coffee harvest, and to support and finance farm certification in the municipality of Dolores - Tolima. The financing of said certification and the commercialization for export of the 2019 harvest were obtained with a premium product of the same seal. 41 ex-combatants linked to
Acopaz Co-op and 4 other associations of producers in the area participated in this initiative, and benefited directly from the negotiation and financing of the relevant stamps.
Cooperation and International Relations
The European Union - EUThe EU has become consolidated as a strategic ally – both politically and financially – for stabilization and peacebuilding in Colombia. The EU's support for the implementation of the Final Agreement has been translated into concrete actions such as the creation of the European Fund for Peace, as a means of channeling cooperation resources from donor countries, and which has given decisive support to social and economic reincorporation of ex combatants. Budgetary Support has been further approved by the European Union and executed by the Government of Colombia for the implementation of the reincorporation policy on issues such as habitability and housing, early childhood care, development of productive projects, training in job skills and care for people with disabilities. Through its different agencies, the UN has supported the National Government in the implementation of the reincorporation policy through the development of economic reincorporation projects, the transformation strategy of the Former
Territorial Spaces for Training and Reincorporation (ETCRs), early childhood, and strengthening the gender approach and other components of the reincorporation route. In addition, the United Nations Multidonor Fund has promoted processes aimed at strengthening the productive projects of people in the process of reincorporation.
Argentina
Different Argentinian entities (National Commission of Popular Libraries, Neighborhood Centers for Youth and Children, Los Grobo Foundation and the Argentine MoFA) have supported the implementation of 5 technical cooperation projects to strengthen 5 community libraries, as protective environments and dynamizers of local and community development in Colombia. These initiatives have brought in other Colombian agencies (ICBF, Ministry of Culture, National Library) and other international organizations (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - SDC), which have strengthened technical and financial cooperation.
NorwayNorway has supported the implementation of the reincorporation process for men, women and young people and their relationships with the host communities; the foregoing through the promotion of comprehensive rural development through the expansion of coverage in education and health, the strengthening of sustainable livelihoods and the involvement of both former combatants and host communities in the protection of the environment through the generation of alternative energies.
Sweden - Folke Bernadotte Academy
The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA), and ARN have had a close relationship since 2007. FBA played a key role in designing the long-term reintegration process in 2007; alongside the Swedish Government FBA has also strengthened the Reintegration and Reincorporation processes in Colombia. Technical and financial support has allowed the implementation of cooperation projects and technical exchanges with countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, to hold international events such as the South-South Technical Cooperation Tours and courses on Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) and gender – held by FBA.
Contributions have also been made for the design and implementation of ARN's Gender Approach Strategy and the participation of ARN as a member of the
Integrated Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Training Group (IDDRTG).
