Territorial Deputy Director

Echeverria Ramirez has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, and holds a Master's degree in Government and Public Policies from Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Echeverria Ramirez has been with ARN since 2013. Between April 2013 and September 2017, he was the Coordinator of the Territorial Groups of Cundinamarca-South and Atlantico departments. Between 2017 and 2019, Echeverria Ramirez was engaged with the Territorial Deputy Directorate and the Programmatic Reintegration Directorate, and as of November 2019 he became the Advisor to the Office of the General Directorate.

Echeverria Ramirez was sworn in as the Territorial Deputy Director at the Agency in February 2020. During his career, Echeverria Ramirez has participated in the design and implementation of the National Policy for the Social and Economic Reincorporation of Farc- Ep ex-combatants and the implementation of the Peace with Legality Policy of the current Administration.

Within the framework of his professional career, Echeverria Ramirez has been the Coordinator of Continuing Education at the Schools of Political Science and Government and International Relations at Universidad del Rosario, and Manager of the Governance Program at the aforesaid University- in association with George Washington University and the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).

 

In 2015, Echeverria Ramirez was a Fellow with the Korean International Cooperation Agency - KOIKA, in their course "National Integration Colombia" and in 2016 he obtained the Certificate of Excellence for his participation in the "2016 Best Practice Essay Competition". He has also been a professor at Universidad del Rosario, Universidad del Norte and Universidad de la Costa (CUC).
